Open Call
For Zine

This issue explores the body as a site of power, resistance, vulnerability, and control. We’re interested in interpretations that engage with autonomy, sexuality, identity, politics, labor, visibility, and refusal. The body can be literal or abstracted, celebrated or contested, exposed or concealed.
 
Mediums accepted:
Photography, illustration, painting, mixed media, graphic design, poetry

Accepted file types:
JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or PDF files suitable for high-quality print reproduction (300 DPI minimum recommended)
 
Who can submit:
Open to all artists, with a focus on emerging artists based in NJ, NYC, and PA.
 
Additional Details:

  • Artists may submit 1–5 works.

  • Existing work is welcome.

  • This zine will be print-only, full color zine.

  • Selected contributors will be credited. Contributors will receive a PDF of the final zine and information on where to purchase.

  • Selected works may be used for promotional purposes related to the zine.​

  • Artists are responsible for securing model releases and any necessary permissions.


Submission Fee:
A $15 submission fee is required to help cover production and printing costs for this independent, self-funded zine. We are requesting waivers if the fee is a barrier. Please reach out at lareinarde@nite-x.com to request a waiver.
