BEST NEW EP:
Following up his previous EP, “Camp for It”, the Brooklyn rapper releases a new EP just in time for the new year. "OFF to Camp, & When I Get Back, You Better Have More to Say" addresses his future plans and what it will take for him to get there.
Camphouse Jay is a rapper, producer, and songwriter from Brooklyn, NY who started rapping at the age of 13. He was heavily inspired by old school funk and 90s R&B and hip hop.
He started Camphouse Records, a record label focused on music and entertainment with passionate creatives like himself, at the age of 16. The label is now a movement to inspire people to "camp" for what they believe in.
In Oct 2018, he released his first EP, "Camp For It," where he received a lot of positive feedback from his fans and they wanted to hear more from the artist.
His new EP is a mixture of genres from electronic to R&B, which is easily heard in the first track, "Tim Burton," which samples "Gooey" by the Glass Animals. His statement "when I get back, you better have more to talk about" is a reminder to his haters that this is only the beginning of his career.
